The following command line tools are available in the mongo_ros package. In each case, more detailed help is available using the -h option to the given command.

• record_to_db: analog of rosbag record

• bag_to_db: save messages in a ros bag to a database

• add_metadata: given a collection of ROS messages, annotate each message with a metadata field that is computed using a given Python expression
